VOLLEYBALL

Volleyball, the sport I have become so passionate about, because it's my favorite sport and the only one I've ever worked hard at. If I had taken volleyball lessons, I would have been a better player. But my parents don't want me to, since I decided that if I don't take classes, I would practice on my own.
Because it has been one of the sports that I have been most passionate about since I had tried swimming and gymnastics, but I didn't like them.

The volleyball It's a sport that combines agility, strategy, and teamwork. If you don't play together, you could lose many games. And if you don't have agility, it will be difficult for you to play. This game has been played in different places, such as the beach or indoor courts.

Volleyball was created in 1895 by William G. Morgan in Massachusetts. He created it to make basketball a less aggressive form. Since then, it has evolved to be played in stadiums.

This sport is played by two teams of six players each, separated by a net. Each team can make a maximum of three touches to pass the ball to the other side of the court, trying to prevent the opposing team from receiving it and thus scoring a point. If the ball touches the ground with 25 points, the game ends. What can help in matches is serving well. If she serves well, the team will have a better chance of scoring.

Height could help you block the ball. If I were taller, I would be the team's middle blocker because I jump high.

One of the things that makes it unique is that contact between opponents is not allowed, since if two players collide, they could lose the communication that exists in the game, as a close connection is required between players. If you don't communicate with your teammates, you lose points.

Some benefits are:

  • It could help with reflexes if you lack concentration.
  • If you lack strength, this could help with muscular endurance.
  • It promotes teamwork and communication.

One of the best things is that it's suitable for all levels and ages. You can play it in a park, on a beach, on a professional court, or even at your school.

Always remember that if players don't warm up properly, they will get injured. I think that if I trained every day I would be in a national team. I really like it because I learned it on my own by watching videos. So, if I practiced more, I would play better in the tournaments I play with my friends.
